The experience achieved by ASSET in space field, in particular about autonomous rovers (wheeled vehicles) for exploration, has provided good returms in the field of robotics: S.P.A.I.C. has developed rover for purposes of surveillance of medium-large indoor environments, able to move either in an autonomous or in a remote-controlled way, able to carry payloads in order to perform the required surveillance tasks. It is currently under assessment an extension to the field of outdoor surveillance, with properly enlarged robiotics vehicles, and even to service and domestics applications.
